Age Concern
I've recently joined the Good Neighbour scheme run by Age Concern and for the last few weeks I've been visiting an elderly neighbour for an hour a week to provide them with an hour of company. Within about ten minutes of my first meeting I realised it was going to be one of the most rewarding and important hours of the week. And so it has proved. Age Concern operates around the country and if were interested in the scheme, I would unhesitatinly recommend it, both for yourself and the person you would be visiting. Nothing I have done in my life has been quite so plainly rewarding, interesting and easy.
And it only has to be an hour. Let's be honest, I don't think my neighbour could take much more of me!

Neal,
Thank you for giving us tickets to the Terrible Tudors.
We saw the play in Bournemouth last Monday night and me and Alice thought it was brilliant. We kept singing Divorced, Beheaded, Died, Divorced, Beheaded, Survived again and again.
We also thought you were very funny talking about putting the glasses back in the box, yes you lovely lady, not in the handbag in the BOX...
We miss you
Love Anna and Alice
Thank you Anna and Alice for your lovely message! I'm really pleased you enjoyed the show. I saw it last night in Basingstoke and I thought the actors and stage management are doing a really good job. The children were much older than usual but they loved it.
And I'm glad you liked my voice-over at the end of the show. It's the only way I could think of getting the audience to give back the glasses! I hope you have yours back!
Miss you too!
Neal

We know who you are! You haven't escaped our attention. Soon - very soon - the Glasses Police will come calling! (using anti-terrorism legislation handily introduced by this Goverment)
